Spa Medicca

Spa Medicca began as a single, high-performing med spa built on the reputation of its lead physician. Known for exceptional results and strong patient relationships, the practice had grown rapidly, attracting clients from across the country despite being based in Dayton, Ohio.

Recognizing the opportunity, a venture capital firm acquired the business with the intention of scaling it into a regional, and eventually national, network of med spas. The goal was to expand through acquisition while unifying locations under a single, cohesive brand.

The Problem

The existing brand was not built for that level of growth. Visually, it felt generic and unpolished, more in line with a small local practice than a premium, scalable healthcare brand.

There was a clear mismatch between perception and reality. The quality of care was high-end and trusted, but the brand did not reflect that. More importantly, it lacked the structure and consistency needed to support multiple locations under a unified identity.

Without a stronger foundation, scaling the business would lead to fragmentation rather than cohesion.

The Solution

We led a full repositioning of Spa Medicca, starting with defining how the brand should show up in a more competitive, premium market. The goal was to elevate the perception of the business while creating a system that could scale across multiple locations.

We developed a new visual identity and messaging framework designed to feel refined, modern, and trustworthy. The brand needed to appeal to a discerning audience while still feeling approachable and grounded in real patient outcomes.

In parallel, we designed a new website that positioned Spa Medicca as a leading, multi-location provider rather than a single practice. The structure and content were built to support future expansion, allowing new locations to be integrated seamlessly under the same brand system.

A unique aspect of the project was the collaboration with the client’s architectural and interior design teams. As the flagship location was being redesigned, we worked closely with those partners to ensure the brand extended into the physical environment. Materials, finishes, and spatial decisions were aligned with the visual identity as it was being developed, creating a cohesive experience from digital touchpoints to in-person visits.

The Impact

Following the rebrand, Spa Medicca successfully transitioned from a single-location practice into a growing regional brand. The company has since expanded through multiple acquisitions, bringing new locations under a unified identity and establishing a stronger presence across Ohio.

The new brand provided a foundation for that growth, allowing the business to scale without losing consistency or perceived quality. What began as a locally known practice is now positioned as a premium, multi-location med spa brand with the structure and credibility to continue their expansion.
